Hair of The Dog was in a rough accident during the winter of 2010 when her storage facility's roof collapsed in a heavy snow storm.
There was extensive damage to the bottom, pushing the jack stands into the haul, crushing heh keel. It also caused damage to the mahogany cap rail, windshield, etc.
Chesapeake Yacht Managnement did a full repaired and refurbished the Hair of The Dog. The bottom had to be stripped and identify delaminated areas in the core of the haul. Delaminated areas in the core had the be cut out, removed, re-glassed and repaired. haul was repainted, the mahogany cap rail was replaced and varnished along with other cosmetic repairs.
